Salmon catch data from the North Pacific Ocean, 1953 - 2008

This data record contains aggregated historic salmon catch data from the North Pacific Ocean. This historic data has been recovered and aggregated to have a better understanding of salmon numbers and catch in the area. The data contains sampling effort (gear, set duration) and biotic measurements (age, sex, fork length, body weight) data collected between 1953 - 2008, from over 100 vessels across several countries. It includes salmon catch data from gill nets, purse seines and long lines.
